How to access the external interface chip?
A: Because the external data memory RAM and I/O ports of the MCS-51 microcontroller are uniformly addressed. Therefore, the user can use a portion of the external 64 KB of data memory RAM space as an address space for extending the peripheral I/O. In this way, the microcontroller can access the external interface chip as if it were accessing the external RAM memory, and read/write it.
