Foxconn produces 540,000 new iPhones per day

It is reported that the Zhengzhou factory produces about 400,000 iPhone 6s per day, and the iPhone 6 Plus has about 140,000 daily. Informed sources said that the factory's iPhone 6 Plus production line is still expanding, but due to the 5.5-inch screen supplier yield of only 50% to 60%, resulting in a serious shortage of iPhone 6 Plus. In contrast, iPhone 6 production is relatively normal.

According to sources from channel distributors, the supply of the 128GB iPhone 6 Plus is extremely scarce, and many consumers are considering that the difference between the 64GB and the 128GB is only about 100 US dollars, so it is more inclined to select the 128GB version. It is expected that the out-of-stock situation will not be relieved until the first quarter of next year.

The "Wall Street Journal" reported that Foxconn's Zhengzhou factory has responded to the shipment demand of the new iPhone. The 100 production lines in the factory operate 24 hours a day, and more than 200,000 workers specialize in the production of key components such as new iPhones and metal shells.
