[Application] Angle detection circuit
The WDD35D angle sensor is a high precision, potentiometer with a nominal resistance of 0.5 to 10 kΩ. The resistance deviation is ±15%; the linearity is 0.1%; the linear accuracy is 0.1%, 0.3% and o. 5%; power is 2W/70°C, temperature coefficient is ±400ppm/°C; working temperature is -40~+120°C; life is 50 million times; mechanical angle can reach 360. The theoretical electrical rotation angle is 345°; the maximum deviation of the measurement angle is 0.345°.
The structure of WDD35D is shown in the figure below. When the angle sensor is rotated, its resistance value changes as the shaft rotates 360. After that, the resistance value is equal to that before the rotation. Therefore, the angle of rotation can be calculated by reading the magnitude of the resistance value, and the rotation angle can also be determined by converting the resistance value into a voltage value by using ADC sampling.
