Tiantong Co., Ltd. (600330, shares it) announced today that it plans to implement a pilot line project for high-efficiency LED lighting sapphire substrate materials. The total investment of the project is not more than 100 million yuan.
According to reports, the investment project mainly produces 4-inch sapphire single-chip, which is mainly used as a semiconductor substrate material for high-brightness LED semiconductor light-emitting lighting devices and high-speed, high-frequency radio communication devices. The equipment required for the project and the breeding technology of the 4-inch sapphire single crystal were provided by Japan's No. 1 Electromechanical Co., Ltd., and a license to exclusively transfer the technology to the company in China was reached. At the same time, it has reached a strategic alliance cooperation agreement with MAT and Shanghai Rijin Machine Tool Co., Ltd. to provide the company with 4-inch sapphire substrate manufacturing technology and related equipment.
The company also wants to transfer the 12.23% stake in Shanghai Baosteel Magnetics to Baosteel Development Co., Ltd., with a transfer price of approximately 13.185 million yuan, and the company will obtain an investment income of 5.18 million yuan.
