Chen Chaozhuo: Hello everybody! My name is Chen Chaozhuo. I speak on behalf of Volvo today. So I wore a "Volvo Blue". We are commonly called "Indigo." But I am usually a Chinese-Swedish transportation research center in Beijing. It was established by the Ministry of Communications and the Swedish government. An international cooperation platform.

Give me 10 minutes today, but the PPT we prepared is the PPT that Volvo gave me. I didn't see it for myself. I see 30 minutes, so I just finished the study. This speech can still be distributed to everyone, but instead It will disrupt my thinking, so I will not use it. Because of 10 minutes, I focus on four points:

First, Volvo develops autonomous vehicles that follow a safe main line. In other words, Sweden is included in the national policy and is called the concept of zero casualty. This sounds like a communist goal, but it is not. Sweden and Germany, if you draw the curve of its annual traffic death, it will decline year by year. By 2020, it will be zero in statistics. Why? It uses many safety technologies, such as active safety and passive safety integration. The Volvo XC90 has been on the market since 2002 and is now 15 years old. There is no fatal accident in the world. This is not accidental. You can say that Volvo cars are more concerned with safety, but the car itself also has many unique features. The automatic driving that Volvo is developing is L4. Everyone should raise their hands to the understanding of auto-pilot rating audiences. Not much, so I can just say a few more words. Actually, L4 and L5, from L3 or higher, theoretically, you can drive by hand, and there is a difference. L3 is a combination of human and machine. You can spread your hand by using a human-computer co-drive, but you need to take over when necessary. Volvo has already jumped over. Why jump over? L4 is theoretically entirely a car driver. This is a contradiction in terms of the law and can cause security risks. This is what I say who engages in L3, and who is looking for legal troubles, but it does not mean that we must develop gradually, from L2, L3, L4. , L5, now everyone thinks that this is not necessary to consider, so Volvo is now L4, L4 has been offline last year, intends to use four years of verification, and now in the United Kingdom, China, the United States, Sweden four countries verify. Finally, Volvo announced that Volvo will take full responsibility for Volvo’s accident in the automatic driving mode. In this way, you don’t want to debate who is responsible on the legal principle.
