This morning, Yuanmao Optoelectronics Technology Wuhan Co., Ltd. was completed and put into operation in Wuhan China Optics Valley. The Standing Committee of the Hubei Provincial Party Committee and the Secretary of the Wuhan Municipal Party Committee, Miao Wei attended the ceremony. Yuanmao Optoelectronics was founded by the internationally renowned American Qiwei International Co., Ltd. with a total investment of 15 million US dollars. Its main products include LEDs, chips and LED applications. It is estimated that in 2008, the annual output value will exceed 130 million yuan, becoming an important LED product production base in Hubei Province.
