On November 6, Nichia issued a successful YAG patent in the mainland. Yiguang pointed out that only a part of the YAG patent in Japan was valid, which had no impact on the layout of Yiguang products.
Yiguang said that the Japanese YAG patent (continental patent number ZL97196762.8, ZL03159595.2) was issued on the website of Nichia on November 6th, and the Japanese YAG patent was closed after the first and second trials were limited. Only the remaining part is valid, which has no effect on the layout of Yiguang products.
Yiguang said that Nichia’s 2011 civil and administrative lawsuits in Taiwan have respectively pronounced the judgment of Nichia Chemical. Everlight continues to develop more diversified products, and has more than 1,600 patents, in order to strengthen the layout of intellectual property rights.
