VR game company Playsnak announced a $1.2 million seed round, sponsored by game developer and publisher Gumi inc. With the previous investment from South Korea’s K Cube Ventures, the company’s seed round amounted to US$2.5 million.
Playsnak was founded in 2015 and is headquartered in South Korea. It currently has offices in Berlin and Los Angeles. They are developing the first VR content and will soon be available.
Playsnak CEO Paha Schulz stated: “Gumi's investment further affirmed our team's vision for VR content innovation is correct. With this funding blessing, we will further expand our capabilities. In the next few weeks, we will release the first A VR game."
