Looking at the sufficient materials left by the CNC and the body of the previous table saw, I decided to re-DIY a better table saw.

Motor:

This table saw has only one motor on the surface, but it is actually two.

In other words, why use two, one is for the surging power, and the other is because the motor is 110V. .. The two in series are really helpless

There is also a story about the origin of this motor: the host likes motors, and when they see a good motor, they can’t help but buy it for collection. The ugly carbon brushes, solid materials, front ball bearings, and handsome CRUUS logo. .. Let me take a fancy to this motor at a glance, buy it and have a look, what a big guy, take a closer look at the label, this. .This. .. It is actually a Dechang 9-head motor! ! !

I got the legendary 9-head motor just like this. Let’s make a comparison.

The middle 3 are the motors of the previous generation table saw: 220V 7-head 12-pole rotor

The one on the left is a Dechang 8-shaped head, an 18V 7-pole rotor.

The one on the right is the "enhanced" version of 775, which is a bit smaller than the figure-eight head.

At the bottom is the ordinary 775.

The optical rotors of the two 9-headed motors are as large as the ordinary 775. .. The power of two motors in series can be comparable to 3-4 ordinary 775

power supply:

The power supply is the same as the previous generation table saw. This is a 2000W thyristor AC governor. The landlord found out when he was visiting the Taobao governor store. It can be adjusted between AC60-220V. Then if I connect a rectifier bridge at the output end , Can't the speed regulation of the high voltage DC motor be realized? Facts have proved to be effective, but the starting speed is about 500RPM. I dare not use the 3A rectifier bridge of the previous generation table saw. This time I changed it to a 25A.

material:

The wood used for the previous table saw, the B grid was too low and the rigidity was too poor, so I abandoned it. Now I use 6061T6 aluminum alloy and make the rest of the CNC.

Saw blade:

Alas, there is a big difference between a 10 yuan saw blade and a 5 yuan saw blade. ..

Start making

The fixing of the 9-head motor is a bit troublesome. Although there are 3 holes in the anti-magnetic cover, there is no remaining aluminum plate to fix it, so we have to find another way.

I turned out 3 775 motor seats that are full of dust. Let me remodel them. Drilling 4 holes will solve the problem. The ladder is too lazy to expand, so that the front cooling vent is not blocked.

Processing board, drilling, tapping. .. Oops, there was an accident. There was a broken tap in the motor base and it was impossible to take it out. Later, two pieces of black tape were pasted on each side for symmetry to hide the merit and fame. ..2333

The table saw table is supported by 4 aluminum alloy blocks, and the corners on the aluminum profile are reinforced.

First fix the aluminum alloy block with a corner code, and then drill vertical holes on it to fix it.

Equipped with the intermediate shaft, following the design of the previous generation, it can reduce the diameter of the synchronous belt wheel on the main shaft of the saw blade to increase the cutting thickness. Now it is extended to be used as a table grinding machine.

Unlike all previous generations, this generation of table saw spindle is installed on the table, and the table is more sturdy than expected, which can save a lot of trouble.
