The LG UltraFine 5K standalone display has a 27-inch screen, supports resolutions of 5120X2880, and a P3 wide color gamut. This monitor uses the latest version of the Thunderbolt 3 interface to connect to an Apple MacBook Pro notebook.
The display is also equipped with a USB-C interface on the rear side that can be connected to a variety of external devices and accessories. The monitor has a built-in speaker, microphone, and camera.
The LG Ultrafine 4K display uses a 21.5-inch screen with a resolution of 4096X2304, supports P3 wide color gamut, and can be connected to an Apple notebook via USB-C or Thunderbolt 3. However, in terms of charging power, this notebook is 60 watts (85 watts for the above 5K display). The notebook is equipped with three USB-C interfaces.
In terms of price and delivery time, the 4K display is priced at $699.95 and is expected to ship in five to six weeks. The 5K display will be officially released in December at $1299.95.
A few months ago, Apple had stopped selling its own brand of lightning-based display products, and the official website of Apple Display could not even be accessed. Apple executives said that consumers can now choose a range of external manufacturers' displays. Whether Apple will develop its own independent display products in the future is not yet known.
