Apple said on its official website on Tuesday that its Apple Music streaming service will release subscribers to James Corden's "Carpool Karaoke" program starting August 8.
Technology giant Apple previously announced that it will launch "Carpool Karaoke: The Series" in April as part of Apple Music's original video streaming service for $9.99 a month. Reuters reported that Apple later postponed its release without explanation.
The Apple Music series adopts the popular part of CBS Corp's "James Corton late-night show" program, which is to see Ke Deng and the star driving and performing a string of songs.
According to Apple's statement, Ke Deng will appear in the Apple Music basketball superstar LeBron James and actor Will Smith series. Other celebrity pairings include John Legend and Alicia Keyes and Taraji Hanson, and Miley Cyrus and his father Billy Ray Cyrus and other family members.
Apple said that the new series of the series will be announced on Apple Music on Tuesday. "Carpool Karaoke" will continue to be an important part of the "late night show."
