Excellent performance
Although the AAT3193 has no flashy equipment or features, it does not affect its performance. It can drive up to three LEDs, each capable of up to 30 mA, enabling lower cost, monochrome and opaque TFT-LCD panel illumination. Another member of the product line is the AAT3192, which drives 2 LEDs. The current accuracy between the components provided by these two devices is above 10%, and the current matching between channels is more than 3%. These new charge pump-based devices automatically convert between 1x and 2x modes for maximum efficiency while requiring the fewest external components.
By using the AAT3193, each LED can be either traditional linear PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) or AnalogicTech's patented single-wire S2Cwire interface. The S2Cwire interface is designed to adjust the drive current of each WLED in steps of 16, 8 or 4 up to 30 mA.
The AAT3193 also features built-in thermal protection and automatic soft start.

The AAT3193 is specified for operation over the -40 to +85°C temperature range and is available now in lead-free, 10-pin, 2x2-mm SC70JW packages. The unit price is $0.49 each in 1,000-piece quantities.
